Dear Ones,

I have been thinking about all the amazing creators I know, people who love to create Beauty, discover the wonder of newness, and revel in the bliss of self-expression. There is nothing like the joy of being in creative flow and the magic that happens as you bring the sparks of possibility alive through creative expression.

I always loved the idea of safari, of experiencing an animal in its own habitat, free to be as wild and unique as it is. I have been on my own inner soul safari journey for some time, stalking and inhabiting the glorious being that is my Creative Medicine. I am not only interested in creating art, visiting my muse on occasion. I am devoted to living my life as art, and to inhabiting that Creative Soul Medicine, at home in her wildness.

Your Creative Soul is stalking you; free, undomesticated, passionate and so very magical. It is that part of you who thinks beyond any box or dogma, who sees the world in ways that no one else does, and who is here to create what no one else can create. It is the part of you that carries the unique Medicine you are here to create and live.

40 is a number of transformation. It shows up in several old biblical journeys (40 days of the Flood, 40 days of Jesus in the desert, 40 years of the Israelites crossing the desert) and in the journey of pregnancy (40 weeks). In Kundalini Yoga, it is said to take 40 days to break free from negative habits and bring in the new. In the teachings of the Kabbalah, 40 is the numerical value of Mem, the Mother Letter associated with the element of water and the power of sourcing the sacred wellspring.
